High lead content in his fish leads to cheating angler's arrest

 This is not Mr Rose, nor is it the fish he caught.

Semi-professional fisherman Robby Rose was caught cheating at a bass fishing tournament at Lake Ray Hubbard, Texas. A $55,000 Legend bass boat was the prize. Mr. Rose attempted to cheat by shoving a 1 pound lead weight down the mouth of the bass fish he caught, increasing its weight from 9.5 pounds to 10.5 pounds.

“We took this case very seriously,” said Kenda Culpepper, Rockwall County Criminal District Attorney, “Cheating is cheating, and the fishing community, nor this office, will tolerate it.”
