Klaus Kinski, (1926-1991) was an actor famed for his intense performances in films such as Werner Herzog's Aguirre: The Wrath of God, Nosferatu the Vampyre, and Woyzeck. In his autobiography, Kinski Uncut, he portrays himself as a brooding sexual megalomaniac, although much of it may have been exaggerated to boost sales. 

I don't know the exact source of this quote.

I agree, however, that our perversions are likely more true than our virtues.
