An animated Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe

"Of course I had to get rid of the eye..."

This is how to animate a horror story.

In seven and a half minutes, animators tell the story of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart, where the main character is fooled by other people's organs.

The cartoon, from 1953, was directed by Ted Parmelee and narrated by actor James Mason.

The complete The Tell-Tale Heart short story is here: Some bodies won't let you get away with murder>>
